Good morning!
This week has been quite productive actually! Ramping up more quickly than I'd expected but that's okay, this is what I wanted haha, time to get off my bum.
Not to jinx myself, but everything was working for me this week, got my contracts sorted, finished my first brand feature (doing these instead of the traditional photography blog post - a more permanent showcase of their images, and their brand - and hopefully something clients will love and share).
I didn't get around to re-doing my location collab page from my old website, BUT I have 3 location collabs coming up before October, so it's obviously not required to move the needle haha! but I'll get to it.
Products for my next shoot are in transit as we speak and so I'm in the planning stages of the style and direction; Lilah is a model for this one, here's hoping she cooperates.
My slightly more achievable, super realistic to-do list for this week is:
Send out email to past clients with special offer. I need to rebuild my portfolio and remind them that I exist and can I pretty please take their photos??
Link the new client contract form to my client database so that it autofills with all client info + starts their project workflow in Notion.
Create moodboards for upcoming shoots and source props + styling.
And then mayyyybe, if the week is kind to me, then I’ll start working on the media kits for upcoming location collabs so that I can start onboarding brands!
I will love you endlessly if you reply and tell me what jobs you’re doing this week and motivate me to get off my bum. Small business is hard when there’s no one to keep you accountable!
